Sr. Account Manager

- Build strong relationships with clients by leading the day-to-day engagement and communication for multiple projects
- Understand your client’s goals and unique challenges, serving as a consultant and advisor to their organization
- Keep an eye on opportunities to grow, strengthen, and deepen existing client relationships identifying profitable extension opportunities or new ways for Bonfire Red to support their business
- Own the process by guiding both clients and internal team members through all phases of a project lifecycle - educating and advocating for both along the way
- Champion best practices in both project management and client service while taking responsibility for the overall scope, timeline, and communication
- Develop approaches and generate proposals or statements of work for client initiatives, focusing on options and creative ways to address their work
- Remain flexible and nimble, knowing when to break process and/or protocol to do the best work or to right-size the solution to meet the client’s need
- Foster collaboration by understanding the right approach and/or mix of tools needed to create the right level of support to ensure a successful and productive team atmosphere
- Work with other project/account managers to prioritize and plan work across the studio and determine resource/staffing needs to ensure success across all initiatives
- Perform administrative tasks associated with client and vendor invoicing, billing, and management

What We're Looking For
- EXPERIENCE. 5-7+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a brand/digital/marketing studio or agency environment.
- RELATIONSHIP-DRIVEN. History in building trust across multi-disciplinary teams of strategists, designers, writers, and developers in a fast-paced and iterative creative environment.
- TRACK RECORD. Experience in growing existing relationships, identifying opportunities, and working to secure extension business.
- SPEAKING VOICE. Ability to lead and facilitate internal and external planning sessions, workshops, meetings, etc.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS. Clear, concise, and direct communication skills and comfort in providing and receiving honest feedback (both internally and with clients).
- CRITICAL THINKER. Demonstrated ability to think strategically beyond the process.
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- TOOL PROFICIENCY. Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as Wrike, G-Suite, and Slack in a Mac-based studio.
- BACKGROUND. A bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
