Like food, art is created to nourish and satiate. We create art to show love, to show anger, to unite. We wanted to create a mini bento-inspired art kit to show our immense gratitude and appreciation for our clients and partners and provide them with the tools to nurture their own self-expression through creativity.

### Historical Inspiration

Bento boxes were created as a means of necessity in the preservation of on-the-go food. Today, they symbolize the act of caring for oneself or a loved one through nourishment. It's a language of love and expression—enjoying the impermanence of preparing and eating a meal in a world of acceleration. It's living slowly, if only for a few moments.

### Curated Experience

We repurposed sourced wood bento boxes as our core on-the-go container. We created carefully planned layers of modest yet thoughtful art supplies, along with a set of inspirational coloring pages of our team’s favorite things (leveraging Photoshop AI as our collaborator). Each aspect of the curated experience was ideated, hand-crafted, illustrated, printed, cut, and assembled by the Bonfire Red team. Additionally, we found independent makers with some eco-friendly materials, from handmade paper (Cobenick Studios) to soil-based watercolors (The Art of Soil).

### Savor the Moment

This special hand-crafted art kit represents an invitation for recipients to create something for themselves or someone they care about. And perhaps most importantly, to take advantage of those fleeting moments to slow down, to create.
